"You
can sleep, my son... We still have 3 hours" - mom said on our way back
to my hometown on train.I looked up her face full of grace...passed a smile & said silently : "I had slept for
almost 5 years mom..It’s time I get back that time, before it’s too
late."
'coz you
never know when the train's gonna stop..
Life had
always been tough, like a journey in this train(though sitting here is not so
tough). You get to see new people, new things, new places and new memories to
cherish...You may or may not have a chance to know those people and
places...and if you do, it’s a pleasant feeling right?
I often see
those vendors with things..to read, to play, to quench my
thirst or feed my tummy. They are like those opportunities in my life...Now here's a toy vendor passing by... "toys for just 20.." he yells..
"It’s
not my thing" I thought. But this
'front-seat'er with his small son just bought one. As I see the curiosity
sparkling round the kid's face when his dad was about to get him something. And I guess for
that kid, that toy was valuable, a part of his life the father offered to
make him happy.
That's how
opportunities work. It may come and go. Grab it if you feel like its your
thing. Once you know you can do it, make sure grapple's on. Fine tune your
taste to find those no-need, sufficient and necessary achievements and the
opportunities you get to prove them. 'coz waiting may not bring the toy-vendor
back. He may get off at the next station. But know
that every opportunity you reject may be the devil's work of fear, disinterest,
laziness.
And there'll always be another 'look-out' who'll bravely take up the
challenge.. like the kid in my front seat..:) Grab each and
every moment. Live it like the next second you’re gonna say goodbye forever…
